Degustation Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using Degustation (the "Service"), and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service and users.

2. Definitions

  1. "Member" means a user who has created an account through email or social login.
  2. "Guest" means a person who uses limited Service features through a token link shared by a Member.
  3. "Content" means all information submitted by users to the Service, including coffee data, logs, memos, evaluations, and text.

3. Posting and Amendment of Terms

The Service posts these Terms on the website. The Service may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws, and will notify users in advance of the effective date and major changes.

4. Registration and Account

  1. A user becomes a Member when the user applies according to the Service process and the Service approves the application.
  2. Members must keep account information up to date and are responsible for managing their accounts.
  3. The Service may limit certain usage or request additional verification for security and abuse prevention.

5. Provision of Service

  • Coffee registration and record management
  • Collection and sharing of guest evaluations with Members
  • Search/organization/statistics features (including optional consent-based analytics)
  • Other features determined by the Service

6. Guest Link Usage

  1. Guest links are created/shared by Members. Anyone with the link can submit evaluations within a limited scope.
  2. Guest-submitted evaluations are shared with the Member who created the link.
  3. For security, guest links may expire after 7 days by default, and Members can reissue or create new links.
  4. The Service may restrict access or invalidate links if leakage or misuse is suspected.

7. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

  • Impersonation, account takeover, or unauthorized access attempts
  • Acts that interfere with normal service operation (excessive requests, automation abuse, exploit attempts, etc.)
  • Illegal content, defamation, hate/discrimination, obscene material, or copyright infringement
  • Including unnecessary personal data (for example, phone numbers or addresses) in comments/memos
  • Any other conduct violating laws or public order and morals

If violations are identified, the Service may take measures including content removal, usage restriction, account suspension, or deletion.

8. Rights to Content

  1. Users retain rights to content they submit.
  2. Users grant the Service a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content only as necessary to operate and provide the Service (including storage, display, sharing, backup, and improvement).
  3. Users must submit only content that does not infringe third-party rights.

9. Service Changes and Suspension

The Service may change all or part of features for improvement. Service may be temporarily suspended due to operational or technical needs, and prior notice will be provided where reasonably possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

  1. The Service is not liable for damages caused by force majeure such as natural disasters or network failures.
  2. The Service is not liable for damages caused by user fault.
  3. The Service is provided free of charge, and liability related to the Service may be limited to the extent permitted by law.

11. Privacy

Matters related to personal data processing are governed by the Privacy Policy .

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute shall be subject to the court of competent jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
